Inventory Notes (Fall 2025)

  • Premier HTS800 polished and chrome snare drums are in stock as well as all sizes of Premier Professional Series tenor and bass drums. Premier Traditional Series bass and tenor drums are also available but only while supplies last. Lead time is 3-4 weeks to prepare the drum for shipping or local pickup. Please send a note to us through our contact form for more information. You can view the drums in our catalog here.
  • Andante and Premier spare parts and accessories are in stock or available to order. Please get in touch with information on any parts you need. If we don’t have them in stock, we can order them in for you.
  • A few select sizes of blue (SL) and red (RC) Premier Professional tenor and bass drums are available. Please get in touch to find out more.
  • A batch of new and used lightweight Conversion Drums are in progress. We hope to be shipping them out early 2026. Please get in touch if you’re interested. Those already on our email list will get a notification once the drums are complete. If you want to pre-order to secure your drum then please contact us.
  • We have a variety of snare sticks left over from discontinued models that can be sold as is and at discounted prices. They’d work great for beginner drummers, band teaching programs or those looking for a cheaper alternative to current models. Please get in touch to find out what models are available and the quantities.

CDS News

Sep 2025: We have introduced a new CDS Catalog for customers to browse through our products. The catalog also includes scores, exercises and articles to help new and existing drummers navigate the world of pipe band drumming. The catalog will be updated periodically to include articles from other drummers so please check back often for updated versions. We hope to offer a free print version of the catalog sometime soon in addition to the online version.

Aug 2025: We are at the World Pipe Band Championships from 7th to 23rd of August. We will respond to emails while we’re away and phone calls when we return.

October 2024: A new free support video has been released for all www.dougstronach.com students. You can find it here.

July 2024: A new round of online snare drumming courses are now available at www.dougstronach.com. CDS is a yearly sponsor of the courses.
